Cyberbullying: What is cyberbullying and how can it be prevented?
What is cyberbullying? Harassment using digital technology is called cyberbullying. It can happen on social media, messaging platforms, gaming platforms and mobile phones. In this case, such behavior is repeated to intimidate, anger, embarrass or embarrass those who are being targeted. For example:
- Spreading false information about someone on social media or posting embarrassing or insulting pictures.
- Sending malicious messages or making threats through messaging platforms.
- Sending a message to another person in disguise.
Face-to-face bullying and cyberbullying often occur side by side. However, cyberbullying leaves a digital footprint. This digital footprint is a record that can serve as effective evidence and provide evidence to help stop abuse.
